Two minutes of talking

I'd like to take a break from the daily updates to give you some insight into my mom's progress.

I'm sitting at the hospital right now with Mommy. She had.

For those that haven't been caught up, here's a recap: (For those that already know everything going on, please scroll down until you see these, "~~~~~~")

Mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer on November 22nd of 2010.
Surgery (double mastectomy) with the implantation of tissue expanders happened on the 5th of January in 2011.
Chemotherapy started February 23rd six rounds, every three weeks until June 8th.
Then radiation began July 21st, happening Monday through Friday for 28 rounds.
Her hair began growing back in October/November of 2011.
In May of 2011, mom had a GYN ultrasound where they found thybroid tumors in, and on, the uterus and on the left ovary. So they concluded that it would be beneficial for her to go ahead with a complete hysterectomy. To provide options with fighting breast cancer, because the risk of uterine and ovarian cancer is greater when you have breast cancer.
So that's where we are now :) She has just gone through a complete hysterectomy and is in pain, which is to be expected! She has a morphine drip and definitely taking advantage of it ;) haha!!

I probably left out a lot but I didn't want to bore anyone and I was just giving highlights!
She is in great spirit! She said "morphine is my friend!" She's in a lot of pain :(
I will be staying with her overnight here at the hospital because it is a 23 hour observation period after surgery. If all goes well and her vitals look good, we will hopefully be taking her home tomorrow afternoon! Thank you all for your prayers and support!! We really appreciate every one of you!
